I think of Edith and Paul all the time. They taught me so many lessons about life, about service, and about caring for everyone. When I think of Edith I think of the song I Did It My Way. She was a force of nature and Paul was the brilliant steady gentleman. My husband Marcus and I always called him the most interesting man in the world. I catch myself saying, hi love, to everyone I encounter. That is Edith speaking through me. I will post pictures when I have the opportunity to dig through all of my albums. Thank you Lori Greg and Sean for putting the memorial service on. Although I was there at the end of Edith's life I feel a greater sense of peace I know that both Edith and Paul would have loved all of those fancy little appies. They always had them out on their living room table before you were ready to eat a big meal. They were hard to resist but you knew the big food was still to come. Thank you for sharing them with us. I miss them both but I know they're here with me. Love Shawna

While reading this wonderful tribute to Edith and Paul, I laughed and cried. Their lives were indeed "well lived", and their love lives on in their wonderful family.

Sean, Lori and i want to thank everyone who came out to Edith and Pauls celebration of life party in Sooke, BC on March 7. It was great to see you all again and to hear some new stories of mom and dad. Thanks also to the caterer, Chompkins. See the image attached. Be kind to eachother, as mom would say.
